French Broad River

Best Times To Fish

The most popular time to fish for musky is betwee June through the end of November. During the month of September and October musky can be found roaming shoals and flats, preparing for the cold winter during January and February.

March and April can present anglers with some of the most aggressive fish being caught on deeper baits and or subsurface streamers/baits.

May through July, musky are still feeding regularly and can be found in deeper channels and will feed on slower moving baits and big streamers.
